Navigating the minefield of modern nutrition
With so much information out there it can be hard to know where to turn and what to believe
The internet is awash with gurus trying to push extreme diets, from raw veganism to carnivore, and everything in between. What many people in the diet space fail to recognise is that there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all diet. We all have different needs at any given time based on our unique health challenges, genes, and different environments.
So rather than debating if the lion diet is better than a high fibre one, or if plants are healthier for us than animal products, we have to actually consider what foods are best going to support our body in returning to its normal healthy function. Once the body is functioning as it should, health can gradually (although sometimes rapidly) be regained.
There are no such things as wholly bad and wholly good foods, and nutrition has to be personalised to you as an individual! Working with me, you’ll learn how to identify what your body needs, and come to better understand the impact that different foods have on your unique health. This will enable to make more informed choices in the future which will fuel sustainable habits, and better health, for years to come.

Detoxification is not optional if you’re serious about fixing your health
Detoxification is a big theme in the work I do, and it is an essential part of restoring and creating good health. We are exposed to toxins on an almost constant basis in the modern world. They are found in foods and drinks, cosmetic and personal care products, building materials, and even in our air and water. Some common examples are parabens, PFAs, lead, BPA, aluminium, phthalates, mould, pesticides, and many more.
Your body is always attempting to remove these toxins since they can cause significant damage over time. This process is called detoxification and it is a natural and essential one. Unfortunately, the number of different sources of toxicity in today’s world is far beyond anything humans have dealt with before, and as a consequence our detoxification functions are often under enormous strain. It is therefore essential to learn how to deal with this toxicity. Equip yourself with knowledge and understanding for how to mitigate toxicity as much as is practicable, and to detoxify safely and effectively. Eliminating stored poisons, old and new, from our bodies, can leave us feeling more energised and healthy than ever before. It is hard to overstate the power, and importance, of true detoxification.
